Win a trip to the Scottish Highlands!

Apply for the University of Edinburgh Summer School before 18 March and have the chance to win an amazing weekend tour of the Scottish Highlands for you and a friend!

Provided by Haggis Adventures, this two-day tour will give you and a friend the chance to see some of Scotland’s most famous sights, including Glencoe (as seen in Harry Potter, Braveheart and Skyfall), Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield (Outlander), and Doune Castle (Game of Thrones). 

The tour includes:

  • Visits to Dunkeld, Inverness, Glencoe, and Stirling
  • A boat cruise on Loch Ness
  • A tour of a Highland whisky distillery
  • All transport including ferry charges
  • Overnight accommodation at Loch Ness

To enter, submit your completed application form for any of our Summer School courses to summerschool@ed.ac.uk by 18 March.

Back in Edinburgh, our Social Programme gives you the chance to fully experience this unique festival city. 

 

Terms and Conditions
1. To enter, applicants must submit a completed application form for a Summer School 2016 course to summerschool@ed.ac.uk by 23:59 GMT on Friday 18 March 2016. 
2. The winner will be chosen at random and notified in the week beginning 28 March 2016. If the winner chooses not to enrol in the Summer School course, the prize will be offered to another entrant.
3. The prize of a weekend trip to the Scottish Highlands for 2 people is not exchangeable. Within reason, the winner will be able to select their weekend of travel.
4. Eligibility will not be affected by applicants requesting partial fee waivers through the Scottish Summer Endeavour Scholarship.
5. Applicants taking part in the Sqore scholarship contest are not eligible to take part.
6. If the chosen winner has applied for the 'Culture and Society in Tanzania with Swahili Language’ course, an comparable alternative prize will be offered.
7. All students who have already submitted an application will automatically be entered into the competition.
