We endeavour to process your application as quickly as possible. Please check your email regularly for communications from us. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (UK time) and we will communicate with you within the following timescales:
1. Application acknowledgement
Following your application submission, we will email you with an acknowledgement that your application has been received within 1 working day.
2. Application outcome
We will email you within 4 working days about the status of your application. If any information or documentation is missing or incorrect we will let you know and you will have 3 working days to send any additional information. If your application has been declined, we will also let you know at this stage.
If your application is accepted, we will ask for pre-payment. You will have 5 working days to send your payment. There is a 14 calendar day cooling off period following payment, after which payment cancellation won’t be possible - please see our Terms & Conditions for more information. Pre-payment should be made using the ePay service - we’ll provide a link to ePay when we email you asking for payment.
3. Provisional booking confirmation
After we have received your pre-payment, we will email you within 3 working days confirming receipt of payment, and to provide a provisional booking confirmation letter. Please note, this provisional confirmation does not guarantee that the course will run. We will contact all applicants with a provisional place within two weeks of the application deadline to provide final confirmation.
You do not need to do anything else at this stage, until we contact you again to provide a final confirmation of your booking.
4. Application deadlines
Applications will close on the following dates:
- For courses starting in June, applications will close on 31st March
- For courses starting in July, applications will close on 30th April
- For courses starting in August, applications will close on 30th June
5. Final booking confirmation (including visa letter)
Once applications have closed, we will email you to provide:
- Final confirmation of your place
- Some important pre-arrival information
- A personalised visa letter
- Details on how to book university accommodation (if you wish to do so)
If you have applied for a course starting in June, we will email you with a final booking confirmation during the first week of April. If you applied for a course starting in July, we will email you with a final booking confirmation during the first week of May. If you applied for a course starting in August, we will email you with a final booking confirmation during the first week of June.
If you are an international applicant, please do not book any flights or travel arrangements until you receive this final booking confirmation from us. However, please do consider before applying whether you will have enough time after final booking confirmations are due to be sent out to arrange visas, flights, and any leave from study/work that may be necessary.
6. Final invoice and payment of fees
Shortly after you have received your final booking confirmation, you will be sent a separate invoice by our Finance team. This will include your outstanding balance, and instructions on how to pay.
If you have applied for a course starting in June, the final invoice will be emailed to you during the first two weeks of April. If you applied for a course starting in July, this will be emailed to you during the first two weeks of May. If you applied for a course starting in August, this will be emailed to you during the first two weeks of June.
Payment must be received no later than 30 days before the course start date.
